We all dream one day, our manuscript will land in the hands of a wonderful editor or publisher. Well, on November 20th 2010, why not make your dream come true. A panel of editors, (one from Random House, one who's worked with Cornerstones and with two more to confirm, but have been approached about this) will take part in a workshop to discuss all manner of things to do with publishing. In the morning, after a short introduction, we'll hear their tips on how to get published and how to approach editors/publishers etc.
We'll then be invited to take part in a written exercise of the introduction letter. After lunch, we'll discuss some sample letters our panel have received in the past and also, if brave enough, a chance to discuss and look over the ones we'd written before lunch, then revise if need be.
The afternoon will conclude with mingling and one to one 15 min crit sessions (chapters and synopsis should be forwarded to me prior to the event)
