Claira Jo - Regional Advisor
Inspired by the look of anticipation on her young listener’s faces, when "Claira Jo" has her writer’s hat on, she makes sure each word is just as exciting as the next. CJ, to her friends, was thrilled and honoured when asked to be advisor for the Scottish region and looks forward to the great opportunities that lie ahead. Armed with exciting ideas to pitch, this Edinburgh lass will venture onward and upward as the advisor known for making SCBWI Scotland events a must to attend. Being a writer, storyteller, sketcher, and with newly acquired web skills, she loves her busy life, but looks forward to spending every single day of her life with her son.

Elizabeth Wein
Elizabeth Wein, a Perth resident, has written a cycle of young adult novels set in Arthurian Britain and sixth century Ethiopia. Her recent sequence, The Mark of Solomon, is published in two parts as The Lion Hunter (2007) and The Empty Kingdom (2008) is with Viking in New York. Apart from having two young children, the most exciting thing about Elizabeth is that she and her husband fly small planes.
